The information we collect

We only collect personal data that you choose to give us. This may include:

  • Enquiry details when you email or call us about sponsorship, tickets or the event (e.g. your name, email, phone number, company and the content of your message).
  • Event registration details if you sign up to attend or sponsor the event (e.g. name, job title, company, email and phone number).

We do not collect special category data, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

How we use your information, and our lawful basis

  • To respond to your enquiries and provide the information you've asked for — lawful basis: our legitimate interests, or taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
  • To send you event and ticket updates where you've asked us to ("keep me posted") — lawful basis: your consent. You can withdraw consent and unsubscribe at any time.
  • To organise and run the event, including managing sponsorships and registrations — lawful basis: performance of a contract and our legitimate interests.
  • To meet our legal and regulatory obligations — lawful basis: legal obligation.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with:

  • Event sponsors. If you attend the event, we may share certain registration details (such as your name, company and contact details) with our sponsors so they can follow up with attendees. Where we do this, we will make it clear at the point of registration and obtain your consent where required.
  • Service providers who help us run the site and our communications (for example our website host and form provider, Netlify), under appropriate contracts and only as needed.
  • Authorities or advisers where required by law.

Cookies and similar technologies

This website uses only essential cookies and local storage — for example, to make the site work and to remember that you've seen our cookie notice. We do not use tracking, analytics or advertising cookies, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address as part of serving those fonts. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential storage may affect how the site works. If we introduce analytics in future, we will update this policy first.

How long we keep your information

We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out above (for example, to deal with your enquiry, run the event and meet our legal obligations), after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.

Where your information is held

Some of our service providers may store data outside the UK. Where that happens, we take steps to ensure your data is protected by appropriate safeguards in line with UK data protection law.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email caroline@toptierconnex.com.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you're unhappy with how we've handled your data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date.

This policy is provided for transparency and is not legal advice. If you have questions about how we handle your data, please get in touch.
